A firearms marketplace only works if everyone in it is who they say they are. That’s the whole design of FFLPowered: a closed, verified network of licensed FFLs — nothing about it is open to the public.
Verified FFLs only
Every applicant's license number is checked against the ATF “Listing of Federal Firearms Licensees,” and a member of our team reviews the uploaded, signed FFL before an account is ever activated. Both steps are required — nothing is approved automatically.
Members-only, dealer-to-dealer
Access to the marketplace requires a verified FFL and an active membership. It is not open to the public — there are no anonymous buyers, and every counterparty is a licensed dealer, pawnbroker, or manufacturer.
Compliant by design
FFLPowered is an advertising platform. We do not process firearm sales. All transfers are conducted between licensed FFLs, in person or shipped FFL-to-FFL, in accordance with federal and state law — exactly the way you already do business.
Your documents stay private
FFL documents and onboarding paperwork are stored privately and served only to you, the reviewer, or a party you explicitly share them with — never as a public link. You choose who sees your license, and you can revoke access at any time.
Reputation you can rely on
After a completed deal, both sides can leave a review. Ratings reflect real buyer and seller dealings, so a member's track record is earned — not claimed.
A current ATF list
The license list we verify against is refreshed on ATF's monthly publishing cadence. A newly-licensed dealer who isn't in an older snapshot is never wrongly rejected — they simply route to manual review until the list catches up.
